Ushers

The Tennessee Theatre is always looking for ushers for our shows and events.  Ushers are an integral part of the Tennessee Theatre experience.  These are paid, part-time positions.

Usher applicants must be at least 18 years of age and eligible for employment in the United States.  A neat appearance and good communication skills are imperative.  Each usher is required to complete the Usher Orientation Class prior to ushering. 

The Tennessee Theatre runs new training sessions during the Spring and Fall of each year. Each session is two hours in length.  Our next orientation will take place in Fall of 2008.  All applicants must pre-register before the event to be included.

Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help us promote the many concerts and performing arts events at the Tennessee Theatre. Event promotion is a major cornerstone in the Theatre’s continued success. 

Duties include hanging posters, staffing a booth at community events, handbilling at shows, and good, old-fashioned, word-of-mouth marketing.  It is a great, easy and fun way to support the historic Tennessee Theatre.
