Griffin Society
Encircling the dome of the Tennessee Theatre, the Griffins draw inspiration from ancient Egyptian design, where they were believed to ward off evil spirits. Symbolizing strength, vision, and guardianship, these figures reflect the enduring power of the arts. The Griffin Society carries that legacy forward—inviting a new generation of arts lovers to engage, connect, and help sustain the Theatre’s future.
